Bio

Jan Christensen has been writing and publishing short stories, most of them mysteries, for about twenty years. As a consequence, she’s had over seventy short stories published. All of them are listed on the “Short Fiction” page with several of them linked to the publications where they appeared. She’s past president of the Short Mystery Fiction Society and a member of Mystery Writers of American and Sisters in Crime.

A small press published her first novel in 2004, SARA’S SEARCH, now available in ebook format.

Her latest publications include female private-eye Paula Mitchell novels: PERFECT VICTIM, A BROKEN LIFE, and SECRET EXPOSURE; four books in the cozy Tina Tales series: ORGANIZED TO DEATH, BURIED UNDER CLUTTER, CLUTTERED ATTIC SECRETS, ORGANIZED TO KILL, and HAUNTING DREAMS; two darker novels, BLACKOUT and REVELATIONS; a collection of three of her previously-published short stories, WARNING SIGNS 1; some stand-alone short stories in a series (The Artie Crimes) in e-book format about a hapless burglar named Artie; and a long short story in the Paula Mitchell series, PAULA’S ELEPHANT.
